Damproofing

Damp in houses can be the result of many types of water ingress. It is caused by a failing damproof course, no damproof course (especially in older stone cottages) and defective pointing to name just a few. At best it can be a nuisance and at worst it can be the cause of wet and dry rot. No two cases are the same and the treatments may vary as much as the cause.
